"Hands down the only Insurance agency you should consider in the University area. I joined the "Safe & Save" program on a suggestion from Marsha and my rate has consistently decreased over the last year. "I am beyond disappointed. I had been serviced by the Tim Good State Farm for almost two years and had no issues but that has changed in the last two months. After making changes to my policy and removing a vehicle I saw a drop in my monthly bill which was expected. The month following the price drop I saw in my State Farm app that $347 was due. I called the Tim Good office and spoke with Justin who informed me that he would have to have his superior take a look at my policy and call me back. Upon speaking with his superior she informed me that State Farm had misbilled me (charged me too little) for the month of December (2025) and that the difference needed to be paid to extend the policy from January 2026 to February 2026 . I asked her specifically "If I make the $347 payment today will I have to turn right back around in February and make another payment?" (at the time of the call it was Jan 23) She ensured me that I would not need to make another payment until March of 2026; as this $347 payment would square away the misbill by State Farm. Despite the incorrect billing not being my fault I paid the $347 believing my insurance was good until March 2026. Today 2/11/2026 I receive a text saying my insurance was due to lapse. I call and speak with Justin yet again who informs me that it would be another $347 to extend the policy from Feb 2026 to Mar 2026. The notes that Justin said were left from my previous call with his superior stated different information that what I have listed above. I now understand that the information provided to me on my original call (Jan 23) was just to get me off of the phone. In a state like North Carolina misinformation about insurance can result in the loss of license. Not to mention when a company makes a mistake and the customer is forced to front the bill."
